FAQ
What packages/collections do you offer and can they be customized?
Absolutely. In our first consultation let us know exactly what you're looking for and we can start to customize a package for you then and there. Getting closeer to the day we will check in again to make sure you'll get what you need in terms of coverage.
How do you approach filming a wedding day or event? Whats your style?
Our approach is a blend of documentary and editorial. We Immerse ourselves in the day, capturing candid emotion while crafting a stylish, Cinematic narrative. On the day, we are extremely hands off and we do our best to blend in to the scenery, that's how we capture those pure and candid moments that you and your guests let loose when you don't feel like you're being watched or any need to model or perform. Ocassionally we will step in a little to ensure we get a shot, maybe recreate a quick moment, but for the most part, after the day gets rolling you won't even know we're there.
How many hours of coverage are included, and can we add more if needed?
Typically, we cover8-10 hours - enough for prep. (bride and groom getting ready) through to the party. We are often asked to stay longer as the party portion progresses, and we are more than happy to add time and to stay as long as you need us in those circumstances.
Can we watch examples of wedding films you've created?
Absolutely, The films we have available have been shared in the "Our Films" section of our website with the permission of the couples. We have full length versions available and we have shorter versions in some cases as well. If there is anything you may be looking for that you don't see on our website just ask and we can send you an example that you may be looking for.
What is your turnaround time for delivery?
We deliver a teaser ( If requested) within 4 weeks, and a full wedding within 8-10 weeks, ensuring every detail is polished. If this changes or we are busier than normal we are heavy on the communication and you will be the first to know where you are in the delivery process through the delivery notifications on your password protected client page.
Do you offer a highlight reel? Full Feature? or both? whats included?
We do offer both. Although our style is to offer something somewhere in the middle. Our longer cuts offer a full look into the wedding day with the story being the main component.
We aim to create a feeling of the day exactly as it was without spending too much time droning on. What makes us unique is that our RAW footage is watchable as well and is included in our final deliverables to you, and is organized by the schedule of your day, so you can find the exact moment you're looking for.
How do you handle audio? like vows, speeches, and music licensing?
Audio has become one of the components we are the most proud of, and its because we have been thorough in our journey of capturing the ultimate audio on the day. Crystal-clear audio is essential, so we are ready to go at all times with multiple mic options and backups. As far as music and licensing, we get to know you both in our meetings and your music selections from the day. From that information we cull the universe for the best sound alikes from our film industry music licensing libraries. That way the music is legally yours to share forever, and you will have a copy of the legal document to prove it. We normally pull from sites like Musicbed or Artlist, and we spend weeks narrowing down selections so that your music is corny or recycled.
How do you co-ordinate with other vendors? How do you work with other Photographers?
We have excellent relationships with photography teams across the GTA and Canada. As soon as we find out who your photo team is we send them an introductory email letting them know that we are the video team. Much like any film set, the protocol is to introduce yourselves to anyone right away, by the time our cameras are rolling we have made sure your photo team knows that we are acting as one unit to get the best shots of you for the day. We are often able to communicate just with eye contact to ensure everyone gets their shot without disturbing any delicate moments or stepping in eachothers way. By the time we have had our second briefing with you as a couple, we have already either introduced ourselves to your planner or we are getting ready to (if we don't know them already). We don't leave anything to the day of your wedding, especially working relationships.

What’s your process for getting to know us before the wedding day? Do you offer pre-wedding consultations or an engagement shoot?
We hold two personalized sessions to get to know you—one to learn your story, and the second with a detailed questionnaire that leaves no guesswork. This ensures we know exactly the shots you care about and how you envision that first edit. n that second session, we go as far as identifying which key family members or close friends you want to ensure are featured, so every meaningful connection is captured. We do offer engagement shoots, and with some packages it's complimentary and a great way to get to know you before the big day.
How involved can we be in the editing process? Can we give input on music or specific moments?
We welcome your input, but we aim to handle all the key decisions during pre-production. By the time we start editing, your preferences and vision are already mapped out, leaving no guesswork for the final cut. That questionairre is thorough, and we spend time with you on every question clarifying your vision. Once we are in the editing stage we use all of your answers as the guideposts for the perfect edit for you.
How long do you keep our footage, and can we order extra copies later?
We maintain a permanent hard copy of your footage in our library, so your memories are always safely archived for the long haul. When we offload your footage from the day we make two hardcopies and one digital copy immediately, One hard copy becomes our working files that we hang on to.
Is travel included in your pricing, or do you charge extra for destination weddings?
For local weddings, travel is included. For destination weddings, we provide a custom quote based on location and logistics. That being said, travel is one of the reasons we do what we do so we are willing to be very flexible in order to make a destination wedding happen.
How do you handle revision requests if we want changes after seeing the first version of the edit?
We offer one complimentary round of revisions within reason to ensure you’re happy with the final result. Beyond that, any additional changes are billed at the industry standard half-day editing rate of $400.
